Ever Given has arrived in the Port of Felixstowe after approximately four months from its initial schedule due to its famous Suez Canal incident, which caused global supply chain disruption.

The 20,388TEU container vessel is reported to have docked at Felixstowe, Suffolk, at 16:30 BST on Tuesday, 3 August.

The giant ship, operated by the Taiwanese container line Evergreen, has unloaded approximately 2,000TEU at the United Kingdom’s port, as it has already discharged most of its cargo at its previous call in Rotterdam.

Hutchison Ports operated Port of Felixstowe said 2,000 containers were being unloaded by crane and the process would take about 24 hours, according to BBC report, which added that the UK port said, “the 400 metres-long vessel was due to leave at 02:00 on Thursday, 5 August.”
